Dexter von Dollern is a beautiful 10-11 month old Shepherd mix. With his unique coloration and golden green eyes, he raises his paw, “I’m ready to go home!” No matter the season or day of the week, he expresses his enthusiasm with a vibrant and positive energy. To him, there is so much to see and smell and hear and touch. Still a young pup, Dexter tries to take it all in at once but, with reminders and with time, he learns to savor experiences. You can see it in his eyes, he wants to please, but he does need guidance and boundaries. Upon seeing other pups, he tries to get his pals to join in on the fun, but those more mature are a bit taken aback by his zeal, shaking their heads as if to say “Youth!” To Dexter, the here-and-now is to be experienced, and we think an active home would suit him best. In playgroups he enjoys the females and plays well, but he doesn’t have room for another male. And felines are not part of the picture either. His new family will enjoy his positive spirit and utter devotion. He loves to be massaged all over. He looks to you for structure and guidance. And most importantly, he wishes you will join him in the adventure called life!
